File Preparation Guidelines

File Preparation Guidelines

To ensure the best possible print quality, please review the following artwork requirements before submitting your files. Proper file preparation helps prevent delays, unwanted results, and production issues.

Accepted File Formats

We accept the following file types:

  • PNG (Preferred)

  • PDF

  • AI

  • EPS

  • SVG

  • PSD

  • JPG

  • TIFF

For the highest quality results, we recommend using vector files whenever possible.

Recommended Resolution

All artwork should be created at a minimum of 300 DPI at the final print size.

Low-resolution files may appear blurry, pixelated, or distorted when printed.

Transparent Backgrounds

For DTF Transfers and UV DTF Transfers, artwork should have a transparent background unless a background is intentionally part of the design.

PNG files with transparent backgrounds are highly recommended.

Artwork Size

Please submit artwork at the size you would like it printed whenever possible.

Examples:

  • Left Chest Logo: 3"–4" Wide

  • Youth Design: 8"–10" Wide

  • Adult Full Front: 10"–12" Wide

  • Oversized Prints: 12"–15" Wide

Scaling low-resolution artwork may reduce print quality.

Color Settings

For the most accurate color reproduction:

  • Use RGB color mode whenever possible.

  • Avoid screenshots of artwork.

  • Submit original design files whenever available.

Please note that printed colors may vary slightly from colors displayed on computer monitors, phones, and tablets.

Vector Artwork

Vector files provide the best print quality because they can be resized without losing resolution.

Preferred vector formats include:

  • AI

  • EPS

  • SVG

  • PDF

Vector artwork is strongly recommended for logos, text, and business branding.

Text & Fonts

Before submitting artwork:

  • Convert fonts to outlines whenever possible.

  • Double-check spelling and grammar.

  • Ensure text is readable at the intended print size.

We are not responsible for spelling errors contained within customer-provided artwork.

DTF Transfer Artwork Requirements

For best DTF Transfer results:

  • Minimum 300 DPI

  • Transparent background

  • PNG preferred

  • No mirrored artwork

  • Avoid excessive transparency effects

  • Use high-quality images only

Artwork submitted as received will be printed as provided.

UV DTF Artwork Requirements

For UV DTF Transfers:

  • Use high-resolution artwork

  • Transparent background preferred

  • Fine details should be thick enough to transfer successfully

  • Avoid extremely thin lines and tiny text when possible

Proper artwork setup helps ensure easier application and better durability.

Memorial & Photo Products

When submitting photographs:

  • Use original high-resolution images whenever possible

  • Avoid screenshots from social media

  • Provide clear, well-lit photographs

  • Multiple images may be submitted for collages and custom layouts

Higher quality photos produce better final results.

Artwork Review

We perform a basic artwork review before production. This review may include:

  • Resolution check

  • File compatibility check

  • Transparency verification

  • Obvious sizing issues

However, customers remain responsible for ensuring artwork is accurate and print-ready before submission.
